Day 6 - Bracelets from Greenland

This giveaway is for some beautiful Greenlandic jewelry. They all go to one winner!

Do you want a touch of the cool, frosty beauty of Greenland? Enter this giveaway to win these three bracelets! These are handmade and donated by our missionary in Greenland, Carole and her daughters.

This green and pink bracelet represents the Northern Lights.

This is a traditional Greenlandic beaded bracelet. They are very popular among the natives and tourists alike. The Greenlandic women have made and worn beaded jewelry for hundreds of years and the style has pretty much stayed the same.

  1. I love to travel and it's hard for me to pinpoint one certain place I would love to visit. But my top two are Greenland (I want to see the lights!) and Italy (I want to eat real Italian food!)

  5. My most favorite place I am dying to go is Alaska. I am a missionary on a tropical island whose heart belongs in the winter.😁

  7. Such a hard choice, but my first reaction was Alaska so I'll stay with that.

  9. What beautiful bracelets! I've never been to Greenland, but I'll never forget looking down at it from an airplane. I was heading to Russia on my first international flight. Like Sarah LeClerq, I always love to see the photos and comments of missionaries serving in Greenland, Iceland and all these wintry places so different from my tropical field of service. 😊

  10. There are so many mission fields I'd love to visit....it's hard to choose just one. I'd probably choose to visit my brother who is a missionary in Cambodia. It would be such a treat to visit his ministry.

I love the jewelry. Snowflakes are so beautiful. Hope I win!!!

  19. What a question! I love cold, snow, and wide open spaces, so Greenland and Iceland are on the list. I have a special place in my heart for the Philippines because my uncle retired there after the Air Force and it always seemed so exotic to me :). We lived in Japan for two years and I love that country too, but I think I'd set out for one I hadn't been to yet.

  22. Again, too many to choose from..maybe.... Germany, Australia or Switzerland.
