Romans 8:38-39 It is WONDERFUL to know that God loves me. Not for who I am, or what I do. To KNOW that He will never stop loving me. No matter what I am, or what I do. O, the deep, deep love of Jesus!
I have different scriptures that I favor at different times in my life. Right now my favorite is Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
(I'm already a follower of your blog)I have many favourite verses. The one that has guided me over many years...Proverbs 3:5-7.
The one I'm loving right now: Psalm 145:8-9 because am listening to the Graham Ord song based on these scriptures. The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works.
Ps. 61:2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. and... Heb. 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
I love Galatians 2:20... When I remember that it is not I who live but Christ lives in me, I can do the hard stuff easier, and remember to give thanks for the good stuff quicker! Taking myself out of the equation really gives a good perspective!
