Survey Time: What Do You Eat?

What do you like to eat?

As I've thought about the blog in this new year, I realized something important......
if the recipes aren't food you'll eat, then the recipes won't help you....
yeah, I know, it's profound.

That is where you come in!

Would you take just a few minutes out of your busy schedule and take this teensy-tiny survey?
It's not in some fancy tech-y format, just answer the questions in either the comments or on facebook.
I'd appreciate it!

1. Do you prefer to use a handful of tried-and-true recipes or do you like to try new things?
2. Which meal of the day do you most need recipes for?
3. What type of recipes do you need most
{main dishes, soups, side dishes, sandwiches, desserts, etc}?
4. What is your favorite type of food {traditional American, Mexican, Italian, etc.}?
5. Is most of your cooking done from scratch?
6. How much time do you spend cooking a regular meal?
7. What type of food is most difficult for you to get on your field
    {dairy, vegetables, meat, fruit, etc.}?
8. What is your absolute favorite recipe?

Hopefully this well help all of us get more of what we are looking for!

1.For me, I like to try new recipes. Sometimes the same 'ole stuff gets boring. I like to try a new recipe about once a month.
2.Breakfast and dinnertime are the times of day I need recipes most.
3.Main dishes, breakfast, anddesserts
4.Mexican and Italian
5.Yes
6.Breakfast, usually 30-45 min., dinner 1 to 2 hours.
7.Mostly the different fruits we are used to in the States are difficult to get here in Uganda. If we get them, they are about 10 times the normal price-so we don't even think about buying. And a lot of the dairy products-yogurt, cream cheese, cottage cheese-they are definitely not as good as what you can get in the States. What the norm is-if it actually does taste really good (like State-side comparable) then you will pay an arm and a leg for it.
8. Chicken Fried Steak, mashed potatoes and gravy

1. Do you prefer to use a handful of tried-and-true recipes or do you like to try new things? Both, but I like to only do things about once a week or so.

2. Which meal of the day do you most need recipes for? Dinner.

3. What type of recipes do you need most
{main dishes, soups, side dishes, sandwiches, desserts, etc}? Main dishes, soups would be nice, and sandwiches are always fun.

4. What is your favorite type of food {traditional American, Mexican, Italian, etc.}? All of the above! :) We do tend to eat Mexican or Italian a lot, though, as well as American.

5. Is most of your cooking done from scratch? Yes, unless it's a busy week.

6. How much time do you spend cooking a regular meal? Depends, but normally about an hour or so, no less than 1/2 hour generally if it's from scratch.

7. What type of food is most difficult for you to get on your field
{dairy, vegetables, meat, fruit, etc.}? This doesn't apply to me really.

8. What is your absolute favorite recipe? Oh, probably my Chicken Enchilada soup. :)
