This one STILL cracks me up!!! My friend and I here call it "sloppin' through it." It ain't always pretty. It isn't always fun. The adventure wears off and somedays it doesn't even feel like ministry! It feels like we are just... well... sloppin' through the ooey gooeys of everyday life on the field (especially in monsoon!) But by God's grace, we just keep putting one foot in front of the other...
Yep! This is a funny one! I'm still trying to figure out who "they" are--the ones that said "it'll be fun." I don't think anyone becomes a missionary for big whoops, but God DOES give us some fun days in amongst the rough ones. Always a bright side! :o)
