Please remember to come back each day for a new giveaway!
Today's giveaway is for a copy of My People by Mike Patterson. This has been so kindly donated by Mike Patterson's daughter, Joy, who is a missionary to the Jews in NYC. We recently did a book review for My People, you can find it here.

Wow. We love reading missionary books...how can you pick a favorite? Right now Gladys Alward has to be our favorite. So many exciting adventures and great examples of trusting the Lord in all sorts of circumstances. This is also a great book for my daughter who is "NE-VER getting married!" The Lord uses all of us as long as we are willing to be used of Him.
Hi, this sounds like a good book to read with my family. I like the missionary story of Darlene Diebler Rose. She was an amazing woman! Thanks for the opportunity.
Thus far, probably In This Place, but My People has been on my wishlist for a long time!! -Jennifer Hicks Smith
I have lots of favorites but the one I've read over and over is Evidence Not Seen about Darlene Diebler Rose.
Evidence Not Seen about Darlene Diebler Rose! I've read it over and over!!
We just finished Ann Judson -- Oh...so terribly convicting. What she went through as a missionary's wife really puts our inconveniences and complaints to shame!
Evidence not Seen is by far my most favorite. I have read it and re read it.
Evidence Not Seen would probably be my favorite Missionary biography.
The story of Martin and Gracia Burnam
Some ladies had posted about Evidence Not Seen on FB, so I bought it on Ebay. I had already heard her testimony on tape. Such an awesome book. I also enjoy "These Strange Ashes" by Elizabeth Elliot.
Through Gates of Splendor is my favorite, because it's the first missionary book I remember reading by myself when I was growing up.
So hard to pick a favourite! Possibly Through Gates of Splendour as it impacted my decision to be a missionary.
My latest favorite missionary book is "To Cross the Widest Ocean" by Mrs. Rick Martin or Becky Martin.
